Chemo Day

I got to go with my parents to visit with his Oncologist yesterday. The CT scan came back clear meaning what ever showed up around his throat on the first one was not there really. My dad had 4 1/2 hours of chemo yesterday. Mom and I came in and out to visit but he mainly just listened to his Ipod and slept. Mom and I did some shopping (or she shopped and I was her company). All the nurses at the Hembree Center in Ft Smith were really great. They took the time to really get to know my dad. They made me feel comfortable too. It's such an awe thing to see that many patients in there receiving Chemo at the same time....I'm sure there were at least 15, although I didn't stop to count.
