Home At Last

I know some of you check through here to see my parents' blog and they haven't updated since they got home so I thought I'd do a quick update.
They got home Saturday afternoon about 1 pm. The kids and I were there to welcome them. My dad was crying he was so excited to see the kiddos.
Thank you all for praying during the time they have been gone. It will still be a long time before dad starts to feel normal again. He will not be able to be around anyone who is sick for a long time and anyone who has had a live virus shot for 35 days after their shot. He tires very easily and still doesn't have much of an appetite. They did make it to church Sunday morning but dad slept the rest of the afternoon. He has lost all his hair now and all his taste buds are gone for now. Most of his regenerating cells (hair, nails, mouth lining, etc) will have to start growing again now. He goes back to his oncologist in Ft Smith on Wed and then the plan is that every 2 months he will go in for blood tests for at least 2 years.
