The rain has finally stopped!!!! I think we had about 8 inches here but the weather people are not saying that much. Our electricity went out 2 nights in a row....one for 6 hours and last night for 2 hours. Lots of people at church last night said they had been without power all day and have been told maybe by the weekend it will be restored. All this from a hurricane and we live in WestCentral Arkansas with no ocean for a days drive!
Yesterday was the funeral for our former pastor Bro David McLemore! He was a great man who also served as the Chaplain in the Army going over seas twice....his latest was to Iraq back in 2005ish. He fought a good fight with cancer and also struggled with injuries from a terrible motorcycle accident.
