For Tricia Challenge!

This is the challenge given by this mom for Tricia.....check out their blogs for better explanations.

I've been keeping up with Tricia, Nate and baby Gwyneth since she was born. She was born a week before my niece was born at 22 weeks. My niece only lived 25 hours but Gwyneth who was born just as small is thriving well right now.

The challenge is to name things that you take for granted that Tricia will have the opportunity to do later. Of course most the ones mentioned but a few I have lived through:

• Being ready to walk out the door and your daughter comes up to you saying I need a bath because she has dumped a pot of potting soil on her head.....and her little brother's too.
• Having to listen to screaming in the car the whole way to Grandma's house (2 hours).
• Being awake at night screaming for no reason you can find and then to find the next morning that he has swallowed a small toy of sissy's and thankfully passed it safely.
• Having your daughter be a better witness than you by asking strangers where they go to church.
• Having to hide the veggies so that my daughter will eat her meat and not just the veggies.
• Not going to the movies for 3 1/2 years and then going to the movies with your daughter for the first time to see Alvin and the Chipmunks through her eyes. The theater will never be the same for me now.
• Having to listen to question after question (usually in the car) and not knowing all the answers.
• Going to the park to play and all you daughter wants to do is swing even though she has her own swing in the backyard and could do that anytime.

I'm sure I'll think of more later. Nate thanks for your awesome blogging! I have really been blessed to keep up with your wonderful family. My little family will continue to pray for you.
