Kindergarten Registration

Last night was Kindergarten Registration for Natalie.....so mind blowing that she is old enough......I want to cry every time I think about it.
We got to registration and all that kept going through my head was how we could make ends meet and still go to the Christian school instead of this public school...I just don't see it happening. It will be okay I know, but still overwhelming. There were many many hispanics and really no one looked like a Christian......maybe once we get to know them better they will...but it didn't radiate from them.....which made me pray that it would show brightly from me.
We listened to the principal (who use to go to our church, so we know her) and then filled out tons of paper work. Then waited in 3 long lines to turn it all in. We also got to check out the Kinder classrooms. The whole thing took an hour and 45 mins. Natalie is so excited but I think deep down I saw nervousness shining through.
She has Kindergarten screening tests next Tuesday (she is very worried about and I can already tell we are not going to be a good test taker). On May 4th they are having a teddy bear picnic so the future Kinders can come see the now Kinders in their class.

Another subject: Alex went for his 2 year checkup on Monday. The Dr was a little worried about his weight (only 21 lbs) and asked bunches of questions. Then he looked in his ears and said the tube in one ear was in the canale (sp?) and the other looked clogged again; so he set up an appt with the ENT next Monday so we can get them check out again. He also asked about his speech which had been something I had worried about for a while. So he set us up with MiChild to do a Speech Evaluation......which is turning into a major deal b/c we have to fill out all this enrollment packet stuff just to get an appt. Please pray that things become clear to us on what to do in this situation.
