It's 2009

Just wanted to say a quick Happy New Year to everyone!
Natalie, Jason and I stayed up til 11 to watch the ball drop in NYC....thankful for being in a different time zone so we can watch it an hour early and still feel like we were up til midnight. Nat and I then slept out on the couch and at our midnight could hear fireworks all around. New Years Day we woke up late and got ready....to find out we had a leak in the shower pipes. Jason took it apart as much as he thought he should before calling our homebuyers insurance and thankfully it should be covered...we are now waiting on the plumber that the insurance chose to call us back to get it fixed.....thankful again that our house has 3 bathrooms with 2 still working showers.
After all that fun we decided to head to Conway to do some looking around. We ate at my favorite place (Chick-fil-a) and then went to Target and other places in that shopping center. I can't wait for Rsvl to start working on our new shopping center so I don't have to go to Conway to do some shopping. We got Murphy (our dog) a new collar and one of those pedipaws nail clippers and then I actually bought a new sweater for myself.....I never buy myself new clothes. When we got back to Rsvl we stopped at Kroger so we could get icecream and cones for a great treat. I searched the whole store for those cones and none of the workers even knew where they were....they had them in this small basket by the bacon.....very bad placement.
SO we had a great day and sad that Jason had to be back to work today...at least tomorrow is the weekend...and we plan to visit my parents and go to church with them on Sunday (for the first time since like August).
