Yesterday was my mommy's 50th birthday! My family drove up that way to the Fort to do some fun stuff with my parents. Nat got to go bowling for the first time. They have this neato frame thing that she put the ball up on and then pushed it off. Her score was only 10 less than mine. Then we went and ate at Chili's...yummy! After that of course we had to drive on to Mansfield for some swimming at the Musgrove pool! It was a great day for all of us.
Dad had a good report from the doctors. All the cancer seems to be gone for now and that means it is a go for the bone marrow transplant to start soon. He and mom have to travel to Dallas for another meeting with the doctors and attend a transplant class. Then they will go back to Dallas for the transplant to take place. They will be there for 30 to 45 days.
Some pics from the weekend.....Nat has become a photographer so some are hers.
Natalie with Granddad bowling
Nat took this of her bowling shoes. She told me "she took it so that when I was old I would remember what her first bowling shoes looked like because old people don't remember things."
Nat took this of Daddy and Bubba
Nat loves lemons!!!
