So the shower was great! Danielle got lots of great things she needed. The cake was yummy....I ended up decorating it myself b/c of lack of time and I got to let my kids sleep longer for naps if I did it here at the house. We played a couple of games and everyone was a good sport and played. Here is the table with the cake and snack goodies! I also made the flower center piece with baby rags rolled to look like flowers.....some days I can be creative!
Nat ended up staying the night at Nanny's afterwards. She stayed up late watching a movie with Nanny, Uncle Chris and his girlfriend Courtney. She came home really tired today.
This weekend we will be at church a lot. We just purchased new playground equipment and they have asked members of the church to help build it. Since Jason is on the building and grounds commitee he has to be there anyways. The kids and I will probably go up and watch, along with helping with lunch.
I don't think I mentioned it but Dad had another round of Chemo Wed (the 25th). This makes his 4th round. About 10 days after it they are going to do all the test again (PET scan, colonoscopy, and others) to see the progress of the chemo on the cancer. If at the doc appoinment in 3 weeks (July 15th) the test show it is at a good point they will then schedule a time to go to Dallas to Baylor to start preparation for his Bone Marrow Transplant. If they (the doctors) think it's not far enough gone then he will get another round of chemo that day. Thanks for your continued prayers. I can see God's involvement through it all.
